Jack Schnettler
Jack is a 2023-2024 Public Interest Law Fellow at the Environmental Law Institute. He works on a broad portfolio of projects at ELI, including ELI’s Pro Bono Clearinghouse. Before joining ELI, Jack worked on energy and environmental policy as part of the legislative staff of two U.S. Senators. During his graduate studies, Jack worked on environmental law and policy in the Office of the Governor of North Carolina, the Fish and Wildlife Service’s Ecological Services Program, and the Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Civil Enforcement. Jack holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, where he focused on environmental economics and policy, and a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center, where he worked in Georgetown’s Environmental Law & Justice Clinic. He graduated from Colgate University in 2015 with a B.A. in History and International Relations.
