Jesse Ferraioli
Jesse Ferraioli joined ELI as a Research Associate in July 2023. She currently works on the Environmental Law Reporter’s State Update, the California Tribe-State/Local Consultation Project, and on projects applying wetlands tools in hazard mitigation. Prior to joining ELI as a full-time staff member, Jesse interned with the organization, contributing to the same tribe-state consultation project as well as to a report on land-based aquaculture. She also previously interned at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), where she facilitated a roundtable connecting New York's agricultural industry with anaerobic digestion resources. In college, Jesse researched the role of the U.S. Forest Service's in safeguarding water and cultural resources from uranium contamination in northern Arizona. She is originally from Clifton Park, New York, and graduated from Dartmouth College in 2023 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Philosophy.
