Kathy Wei
Kathy Wei joined the Environmental Law Institute in June 2022 as the Development & Board Associate. In this role, Kathy is primarily responsible for helping to achieve fundraising goals and to support the ELI Board of Directors.
Prior to joining ELI, Kathy held various internships with organizations across the environmental field, such as The Nature Conservancy and the Department of Energy. She graduated from the University of Virginia in May 2022 with an interdisciplinary B.A. in Environmental Thought and Practice and pursued a Distinguished Majors thesis in her final year of college, exploring Asian American culture, struggle, and identity using traditional art and digital mapping.
Kathy is highly interested in the marketing, communications, and education side of the environmental field. In her free time, she enjoys reading, painting, rockhounding, and checking sites off her DC bucket list.
