Laura Goldman
Laura joined the Environmental Law Institute in March 2022 as Manager of Foundation and Donor Relations. In this role, she is responsible for the cultivation and stewardship of ELI’s grant portfolio. Partnering across the organization to deepen connections with existing donors and identify new sources of funding. Laura also helps coordinates outreach to individual donors and oversees the Women in Environmental Law and Leadership initiative.
Laura previously worked at ELI from 2015-2018, starting as Development Associate before being promoted to Grants and Development Writer. During this time, she worked with the development team to raise restricted and unrestricted funds for the operations of the Institute, promote the communications of the organization, and allow donor communication and engagement activities to run efficiently. Prior to re-joining ELI, Laura spent three years as Foundation Relations Associate at Defenders of Wildlife.
Laura holds a B.A. in International Affairs with concentration in International Environmental Studies from George Washington University. Outside of ELI, Laura is a chapter advisor for Kappa Delta’s Sigma Mu chapter at George Washington University and is a board member of the DC Kappa Delta alumnae chapter.
