Lauren Gode

Lauren is a senior and Claremont Mckenna College, double majoring in Environment, Economics, and Politics (EEP) and Literature. She is especially interested in ocean conservation, natural resource policy and protection in developing countries, and coastal blue carbon ecosystems. At ELI, Lauren has contributed to several different projects including hazard mitigation state plans and wetland protection, researching marine protected areas in the Southeast Pacific, and sustainable procurement for ocean and river freight vessels. After graduating, Lauren plans to pursue a career in ocean policy or corporate social responsibility and sustainability.
