Therese Wilkerson

Therese joined ELI as a Staff Attorney in 2023. Therese works primarily with ELI’s water and oceans programs on topics including compensatory mitigation management, Clean Water Act 303(d) program implementation, and sustainability efforts of international small-scale fisheries. Therese also contributes to ELI’s Research and Policy programmatic work. Prior to joining ELI, Therese held positions and internships at the Delaware Riverkeeper Network, Vermont Law School’s Environmental Advocacy Clinic, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 1, and the Chesapeake Legal Alliance. She received a J.D. and certificate in Water Resources Law from Vermont Law School and a B.A. in Writing and Rhetoric, and Political Science from Syracuse University.
