- Governor Newsom signs into law special session proposal to hold Big Oil accountable for price gouging, increasing transparency around price-setting in the transportation fuel market.
- Entergy Louisiana––Louisiana’s largest utility––seeks approval for 3 gigawatts of solar, 11 times the current solar buildout in the state, as part of a strategy to build on the state’s first green tariff.
- House passage of Republican energy legislation.
- Release of Treasury guidance for EV tax credits under the IRA.
- EPA rulemakings impacting electric power and vehicle sectors.
