Welcome to the training course "Climate Change Adaptation in the Republic of Kazakhstan"!
This training course is being delivered in collaboration with the Department of Climate Policy and Green Technologies of the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and with financial support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
This course provides online resources covering adaptation to climate change in general, the impacts of climate change in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the adaptation provisions of the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the relevant Rules and Methodological Guidance. In particular, this course is designed to familiarize supervisors, experts, and staff with the norms and processes of adaptation to climate change, as well as to develop the capacity of staff to implement adaptation-related provisions contained in the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

To complete the training, please take the test here.
The test will be available September 4-7. Participants who scored at least 70% on the test (i.e. at least 18 correct answers out of 25) will receive a certificate of successful completion of the course. Participants who do not achieve the required score the first time will have the opportunity to retake the test during the testing period. Participants who ultimately fail to achieve the required score will receive a document confirming that they have attended the training course.
