Effective Coastal Wetland Management

State coastal programs have made significant contributions to wetlands management, according to findings from the National Coastal Zone Management Effectiveness Study. However, there is much room for improvement, particularly in the management of nontidal coastal wetlands, restoration, and in tracking and evaluating program outcomes.
