Summary
In 1983 the Federal Highway Administration published a wetland evaluation procedure informally called the "FHWA/Adamus method". The method drew immediate attention from federal, state, and local wetland programs. Now, the first major revision of the method has been officially released. It has been renamed "The Wetlands Evaluation Technique" or "WET".
