Summary
On August 22 and 23, 1893, professional wetland managers and citizen advocates from eight Midwestern states met to discuss the role of the Great Lakes States in wetland protection. Sponsored by the Lake Michigan Federation’s Wetland Management Program, the workshop assembled decision makers involved in wetland protection issues from each state to discuss how to improve the effectiveness of their programs.
