Randall S. Abate has been appointed as the inaugural Rechnitz Family Endowed Chair of Marine and Environmental Law and Policy at Monmouth University in West Long Beach, NJ. Abate was a professor at Florida A&M University College of Law.
Adenike Adeyeye has become an advisor to the California Public Utilities Commission. She was previously senior research and policy analyst/advocacy representative at EarthJustice, and is a former ELI research sssociate.
Former Energy and Commerce Committee staff director Gary Andres has been tapped to lead the Republican staff on the House Committee on Ways and Means.
George David Banks, a former international energy and environment aide for the Trump administration, has become an adjunct research scholar at the Columbia School of International and Public Affairs’ Center on Global Energy Policy.
Exelon’s Kathleen Barrón has been promoted to senior vice president, government & regulatory affairs & public policy. She will also serve as a member of the company’s Executive Committee.
Bob Bauer, partner at Perkin Coie’s DC office, is retiring from the firm after 35 years to devote more time teaching at New York University School of Law.
