Initial Visit by Key Members of the Fisheries Project Team
March 13-17, 2023
Rebecca Kihslinger and Carolina Vargas will make an initial trip to Belize City to introduce themselves and the project to fishers and other fisheries stakeholders. The team has limited availability during this week, but if you would like more information, please reach out to BelizeFisheriesProject@eli.org. Even if the team cannot find time to meet with you this week, we can schedule a virtual follow up to ensure that we hear from you.

Fishers for a Sustainable Future Training
In Belize April 9-11, with subsequent virtual training
COBI will offer trainings to fishers on topics that include: fisheries management, collaborations for sustainability, shifting baselines, governance, and soft skills, such as effective communication, public speaking, teamwork, and leadership.
